Voices of the Hudson Valley: About Voices of the Hudson Valley

About Voices of the Hudson Valley

Voices of the Hudson Valley was a three year project to convert oral histories from tape to digital format and make them available online in several ways. Five organizations participated in this project and are now able to share oral history recordings from their collections with you!

The full oral histories are available for listening here at the Hudson River Valley Heritage website. Additionally, the full interviews were used to produce hundreds of short story clips.

This site is organized by the organizations that participated in this project. Visit each section to find links to the full interviews as well as the stories. Enjoy!

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
