Dear [colleagues, members, partners],

As you may know, New York State’s ConnectALL Office recently launched a statewide Digital Equity Survey [bit.ly/connectall-survey] to better understand the needs of New York residents when it comes to internet access and digital equity.

This important survey will help inform the State’s investment of historic funding to provide improved connectivity for all New Yorkers, increasing access to education, healthcare, civic engagement, economic, and other opportunities. [Your organization's name] is working with the ConnectALL Office to promote this survey to ensure that Hudson Valley residents’ voices are heard and that the State’s plans reflect the unique challenges in our region.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete HERE [bit.ly/connectall-survey]. I hope you will consider completing the survey to share your thoughts and encouraging your friends, colleagues and community members do the same.

[Insert details on additional opportunities for support with completing the survey (specific to each region’s distribution plan). Example: To assist community members with the survey process, [Regional Partner Name] will be offering the following Group Survey Sessions so that community members can complete the surveys together, with support from our staff. ]

Thank you for supporting this important process!

As specified in CAO’s Subawardee Scope of Work, Regional Partners are responsible for recruiting and convening at least 3 focus groups with members of specific Covered Populations. Focus groups will supplement data gathered from the Digital Equity Survey, reaching populations who may not be well reflected or reached by the survey and providing rich data about the lived experience of people experiencing digital inequity to inform the State’s BEAD and Digital Equity plans.
